Kya hua — verified points

  • 19 October — custody extension: naye SEM ne dono leaders ko produce hone ke baad judicial custody do din badha di. Order mein "imminent apprehension of a fresh breach of peace" ka haawala kiya gaya (India Today).
  • SEM ke grounds: order ke mutabik Das aur Ranka ne 11 October ko furnish kiye gaye bonds jaan-bujh kar todhe aur turant peace ki violation ki. Unki assurance par bharosa nahi hone bataya gaya — "Their conduct is not above board; rather, it shows no respect for law and their habitualness in calling protest at de-notified areas."
  • Surety kyun reject hui: ek surety ke surety bond aur Aadhaar card ke photograph ke beewajah mismatch par koi valid ID nahi de paya; doosre surety ko Das ke parentage aur address jaise basic details nahi pate the. Dono ko credibility establish karne mein asamarth bataya gaya aur naye surety dene ko kaha gaya (India Today).
  • 20 October — Delhi HC petition: CJP ne SEM order ko legally flawed bataya, Article 21 (personal liberty) ka zikr kiya, aur kaha ki bank-verified surety tatha FDR (16 aur 19 October ko submit) trivial grounds par reject hue. Delhi High Court ki Aldanish Rein vs State of NCT of Delhi ruling ka haawala dete hue personal bond par release ki maang ki gayi (News18).

Aam nagrik aur protestor ke liye iska matlab

  • Custody extension bhi challenge ho sakta hai: magistrate ke remand order ke khilaf High Court mein petition ja sakti hai. CJP ne BNSS Section 135(3) ke under extension ko "mechanically accepted" bataya — ye petition ka daava hai, court ki confirmed position nahi.
  • Surety verification ka rule: bank-verified surety ya FDR reject hone par personal bond par release ka argument court mein liya ja sakta hai; iske liye surety documents ka record safe rakhein.
  • Hearing ka status: Delhi High Court is hafte Dussehra vacation mein hai, isliye exact sunwai ka samay registry se confirm karna zaroori hai. Case status ke liye Delhi High Court ki official site dekhein.
  • Verify kaise karein: custody ya release ka status news headline par nahi, court order ya jail authority ke official record par check karein.

Verified update: 11 October 2026 (Sunday) ko Panaji (Goa) ke Azad Maidan par CJP ke protest ke dauran Goa Police ne activists ko detain kiya.

Kya hua: verified points

  • Division bench Justice Valmiki Menezes aur Justice Amit Jamsandekar ne Sunday shaam 7.30 pm par hearing shuru ki, jo 8.45 pm par khatam hui.
  • Times of India ke mutabik HC ne apne order mein kaha: "Considering that there are no prohibitory orders under Section 163 of the BNSS, we are of the opinion that the detention may not have been authorised." India Today aur The New Indian Express ne chhah detainees ka zikr kiya hai, jabki Times of India ne saat naam gine hain (Jack Sukhija, Afreen Shaikh, Liston Noronha, Aditya Parulekar, Milind Rane, Bhupesh Bind, Shamino Fernandes).
Kisi detainee ko medical examination ki zaroorat ho to Goa Medical College (GMC) mein examine karke report sealed cover mein court ko deni hogi. Matter ki detailed sunwai 12 October 2026 (Monday) ko hai.

Aam nagrik ke liye iska matlab

  • Detention ka legal basis matter karta hai: court ne dekha ki Section 163 BNSS ke tahat prohibitory orders maujood the ya nahi. Aise orders ke bina custody ki legality par sawal uthna swabhavik hai.
  • Habeas corpus ek practical remedy hai: protest ke dauran kisi ko custody mein liya jaaye to family ya vakil urgent habeas corpus petition file karke court se release maang sakte hain, jaise yahan kiya gaya.

March Jantar Mantar case mein giraftar CJP leaders Ashutosh Ranka aur Saurav Das ke khilaf police action ka protest tha. March se pehle Delhi Police ne AISA ki rashtriya adhyaksha Neha Bora aur CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke ko preventive custody mein liya. 17 October 2026 (Saturday) ko Bora ko riha kiya gaya aur Dipke ko Special Executive Magistrate (SEM) court ne conditional bail par riha kiya.

  • Verify kaise karein: Detention ya bail ka status court records aur Delhi Police ke official channels se confirm karein, viral posts par bharosa nahi.

🔴 14 October 2026 update: Jantar Mantar denotified, Das aur Ranka 5 din ki judicial custody mein

Verified update: 13 October 2026 (Tuesday) ki subah CJP ke Saurav Das, Ashutosh Ranka aur Ajinkya Shinde 11 anya members ke saath Jantar Mantar pahunche, jise Delhi Police ne ab designated protest site se denotify kar diya hai. Police ne unhe trespass ke aarop mein preventive arrest kiya. 14 October 2026 (Wednesday) ko Delhi ke Special Executive Magistrate Court ne Das aur Ranka ko 5 din ki judicial custody (Tihar Jail) bheja, jabki Shinde personal bond par release ho gaye. Dono leaders higher court se bail maang sakte hain (BBC).

Kya hua: verified points

  • Jantar Mantar denotified: Delhi Police ne Delhi High Court ko bataya ki Supreme Court ke order ke baad Jantar Mantar ko designated protest site ki list se hata diya gaya hai; alternative venue ke roop mein Ramlila Ground, Burari Ground aur CBD Ground (East Delhi) bataye gaye (India Today, Hindustan Times; 13 October 2026).
  • Aarop kya hain: Police ke mutabik group ne locked gate aur barricades cross karke denotified site mein entry ki. Das, Ranka aur Shinde par trespass, peace bond ka ullanghan, prohibitory orders ka ullanghan aur public officials ko obstruct karne ke aarop hain, jinse woh inkaar karte hain (BBC).
  • Is baar arrest peace bond par: BBC ke mutabik weekend ke protests se pehle Das, Ranka, Shinde aur CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke ko preventive custody mein liya gaya tha aur magistrate ne unhe baad mein release kiya tha. 14 October ka remand unhi conditions ke aadhaar par hua.
  • Do FIR, 14 log: The Hindu ke mutabik Delhi Police ne 14 CJP members ke khilaf do FIR darj kiye hain, jinme trespass aur police personnel ko obstruct karne ke aarop hain.
  • Court ka daayra: Ye ek magistrate court ka remand order hai; Supreme Court ke 28 July, 1 September (FIRs quashed) aur 9 October ke orders alag proceedings hain.

Aam nagrik aur protestor ke liye iska matlab

  • Denotified site ka matlab: Jantar Mantar par ab officially protest ki permission nahi milti; protest ke liye Delhi Police ke bataye alternative venue par permission apply karni hoti hai.
  • Peace bond ka asar: Court ke peace bond ki conditions todne par naya arrest ho sakta hai, chahe pehla case band ho chuka ho.
  • Bail ka raasta: Magistrate court ke remand ke baad bail ke liye higher court ja sakte hain; order ki copy aur grounds ke liye official site dekhein.
  • Verify kaise karein: Viral claims ko headline par nahi, court order ya police statement par check karein; case status ke liye Delhi High Court aur Delhi Police ki official site use karein.

  5. Viral claims verify karein: "poora Delhi band hai" jaise claims ko official advisory se cross-check karein.

🔴 CJP kya hai — verified picture

CJP ka cockroach mascot irony aur satire par based hai.

SawalVerified answer
CJP registered political party hai?BBC ise formal political party nahi, online satirical collective batata hai.
Isse kaun joda gaya hai?BBC report mein founder Abhijeet Dipke ka naam hai.
Kya protest ke baad koi court order aaya?Haan. Supreme Court ne 28 July 2026 ko interim order aur 1 September 2026 ko final order diya.
Kya protestors par legal action hoga?Delhi government ne 30 July ko kaha — peaceful protestors (without criminal record) par koi action nahi. 1 September ko SC ne sabhi FIRs quash kar di.

🔴 Ye movement trend kyon hua?

BBC ki report mein CJP ke rapid online growth aur youth frustration ka context diya gaya hai. The Hindu ki June reporting mein CJP supporters ke protest aur Education Minister ke resignation ki demand report hui.

20 July 2026 ko Delhi ke Jantar Mantar par CJP-led march hua, jo Parliament March mein badal gaya. Police ne lathicharge aur tear gas ka use kiya. Protest pure desh mein fail gaye — Bihar, Maharashtra, West Bengal, Kerala, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Assam tak.

Aspirants ke liye real issue tab banta hai jab relevant authority—jaise NTA, university, board, commission ya department—dated notice publish kare.

🔴 Supreme Court ka 28 July 2026 order — interim directions

Chief Justice Surya Kant, Justice Joymalya Bagchi aur Justice V Mohana ki bench ne 28 July 2026 ko CJP protests se related pleas par sunwai karte hue interim order diya. Verified key points:

  1. Coercive action par rok: Sabhi states ko direction — protesting students ke khilaf koi coercive action na liya jaye.
  2. Minors ki release: 18 saal se kam umar ke jitne bhi students arrest ya detain hue hain, unhe release kiya jaye — agar unpar koi criminal antecedents nahi hain. Zaroorat padi to simple bond par bhi release kiya ja sakta hai.
  3. FIR investigation jaari rahegi: Delhi government aur doosre states FIRs ki investigation continue kar sakte hain, lekin coercive measures nahi le sakte.
  4. Criminal record walon ko protection nahi: Jo log criminal antecedents wale hain, unhe ye protection nahi milegi.
  5. Evidence preservation: Sabhi states ko direction — protest se related CCTV footage, drone recordings, body-worn camera footage, wireless communication records aur PCR logs preserve kiye jayein.
  6. Personal data protection: Police authorities kisi bhi protestor ka personal information ya digital data public domain mein disclose nahi karengi.

  • CJP protests ke sambandh mein Delhi Police dwara 13 cases register kiye gaye the.
  • Kisi bhi peaceful protestor ke khilaf adverse legal action nahi liya jayega.
  • Jo log already arrest ya detain hue hain, unke cases ki review jaldi ki jayegi aur release process expedite kiya jayega.
  • Criminal antecedents rakhne wale log is protection ke daayre mein nahi aayenge — ye Supreme Court ke order ke mutabik hai.

🔴 Supreme Court ka 1 September 2026 order — FIRs quashed nationwide

Sabse badi update: Supreme Court ne 1 September 2026 ko Article 142 (do complete justice) ke under NEET paper leak protests se related sabhi FIRs ko quash kar diya. Ye 20-25 July 2026 ke beech hue protests par lagbhag pure desh mein registered FIRs par apply hota hai.

Key orders:

  1. FIRs quashed: 20-25 July 2026 ke protest incidents se related sabhi FIRs quash. Jo bhi FIRs court ke notice mein nahi aayi hain, woh bhi investigated ya pursued nahi hongi — closed considered jayengi.
  2. No fresh FIRs: Koi bhi state ya union territory inhi protests (20-25 July) ke relate mein naya FIR register nahi kar sakta.
  3. Exception — 2,273 individuals: Delhi Police/Central Government ko permission di gayi hai ki woh 2,273 individuals ke khilaf naya FIR register kar sakte hain — ye woh log hain jinpar serious criminal antecedents hain.
  4. Compensation: Centre ne 3 months ke andar un students ke parivar ko compensation dene ka assurance diya jinhone suicide kiya.
  5. CJP march withdrawn: CJP co-convener Saurav Das court mein personally appeared aur 5 September 2026 ki proposed march withdraw karne ka statement diya.

Bench

Chief Justice Surya Kant, Justice Joymalya Bagchi aur Justice V Mohana ki same bench.

Key lawyers

  • Solicitor General Tushar Mehta — Union of India / Delhi Police ke liye. Unhone bataya ki 5 applications (Delhi Police, Maharashtra, Assam, Bihar, West Bengal) Article 142 ke under FIRs quash karne ke liye file ki gayi thin.
  • Senior Advocates N Hariharan, Vrinda Grover, Shadan Farasat — Petitioners (protesting students) ke liye.

  1. Already filed FIRs pursue nahi ki jayengi
  2. Naye FIRs register nahi kiye jayenge
  3. Students ke suicide par families ko compensation diya jayega

Important: Ye 1 September 2026 ka order final hai — 28 July ka interim order replace karta hai. 2,273 individuals ke exception ke saath, baaki sabhi protestors ke khilaf FIRs permanently closed hain.

🔴 Swatantra Bhardwaj assault incident — 4 September 2026

CJP movement ke beech ek naya vivad saamne aaya. Swatantra Bhardwaj — ek right-wing influencer aur podcaster jiske 1.8 lakh followers hain — par aarop hai ki unhone 20 July 2026 ko Jantar Mantar CJP protest ke dauran student activist Nishu Azad ke pita Sanjay Kumar par kada se hamla kiya. Bhardwaj ne ek podcast mein iske baare mein boast karte hue kaha ki unhone "skull crack kar diya."

Note: Ye incident 20 July 2026 ke CJP protest ke dauran hua tha. Supreme Court ke 1 September 2026 ke order (FIRs quashed) se ye separate matter hai jo ek naye criminal incident ke rup mein register hua hai.

Supreme Court ne 9 September 2026 ko Greater Noida Executive Magistrate ke khilaf strict action liya, jinhone Supreme Court ke 1 September order ke bawajood ek student ko notice issue kar diya tha.

Kya hua — incident

DateEvent
4 September 2026Greater Noida Executive Magistrate (3rd Court) ne Akshat Tripathi — Gautam Buddha University ke second-year law student aur SFI ke UP committee member — ko notice issue kiya. Notice mein BNSS (Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita) ke Sections 126/135 ke under ₹5 lakh ka personal bond + do sureties maangi gayi, ye kehkar ki unhone CJP protest ke liye fellow students ko "instigate" kiya
9 September 2026 (Wednesday)CJI Surya Kant, Justice Bagchi aur Justice Mohana ki bench ne is matter ko suo motu notice mein liya. CJI ne pucha: "How did the magistrate dare to issue a notice when we have already annulled... and we have directed that on the already registered (FIRs), no action will be taken?"
10 September 2026 (Thursday)Solicitor General Tushar Mehta ne court mein bataya ki Executive Magistrate ko suspended kar diya gaya hai. Senior Advocate P.V.

CJI Surya Kant ne Wednesday ko kaha ki Supreme Court ka 1 September order bilkul clear tha — "No penal action against any student." Unhone kaha:

"The language is very plain. Even a layman can understand. The executive magistrate or district magistrate… cannot violate that order."

Tripathi ne petition mein kaha ki ye notice Articles 14, 19(1)(a), 19(1)(b) aur 21 of the Constitution ka violation hai aur Supreme Court ke 1 September ke binding directions ke against hai.

Suspension

10 September 2026 ko SG Tushar Mehta ne Supreme Court ko inform kiya ki Executive Magistrate ko suspend kar diya gaya hai. CJI ne kaha ki unhone already matter ko strong note mein liya tha jab ye court ke notice mein aaya. SG ne kaha, "Let's not sensationalise it."

Key point: Ye notice, Supreme Court ka September 1 order hone ke bawajood — jisme sabhi FIRs quash karke "no coercive action" ka clear direction diya gaya tha — issue kiya gaya. Court ne ise "violation of court order" maana aur immediate action liya.

"If within 48 hours Gyanesh Kumar doesn't resign, the Cockroach Janta Party will start a nationwide agitation." — Abhijeet Dipke, Delhi press conference, 24 September 2026 (Times of India report)

Aise mamlon mein final update sirf Election Commission ke official portal par hi milta hai.

Vivad ka context — verified points

  • Times of India (24 September 2026) ke mutabik ye bayan Election Commission ke kaam aur SIR (Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls) ko lekar chal rahe vivad ke beech aaya.
  • Usi report mein Indian Express ka reference hai ki Election Commissioners Sukhbir Singh Sandhu aur Vivek Joshi ne 10 mahine mein kam se kam 14 baar electoral-roll procedures aur SIR se jude faislon par aitraaz kiya.

SIR kya hai — official paribhasha (PIB)

PIB ke 25 July 2026 ke press release ke anusar ECI ki Special Intensive Revision (SIR) alag-alag phases mein chalti hai. Iska maksad electoral roll ko accurate, up-to-date aur ineligible ya duplicate entries se mukt rakhna hai — saath hi ye sunishchit karna ki koi eligible voter chhoot na jaye. Deletions BLO (Booth Level Officer) ke ghar-ghar verification ke baad hi hoti hain, aur Delhi Phase III mein aata hai.

Aap apna vote kaise check karein — official steps

  1. ECI ka Citizen Service Portal voters.eci.gov.in kholein.
  2. Apna naam, EPIC number ya mobile number se search karke electoral roll mein apni entry check karein.
  3. Naam missing ya detail galat ho to apne ERO (Electoral Registration Officer) ke paas official correction/objection file karein.
  4. "Voter list se naam hata diya gaya" jaise viral screenshots ko bina verify kiye share na karein — proof ke liye sirf ECI ya Chief Electoral Officer ka official notice dekhein.

🔴 NEET, CUET ya government exam aspirants kya karein?

  1. Official notice board dekhein: NTA exams ke liye NTA Notice Board check karein.
  2. Candidate login bhi verify karein: Application number aur date of birth se dashboard mein update dekhein.
  3. Screenshot ko proof na maanein: Notice number, date, issuing authority aur official domain check karein.
  5. Written record rakhein: Agar exam centre, admit card ya schedule issue hai, screenshot aur application details ke saath authority ke official support channel par complaint karein.

Important: Kisi protest, hashtag ya viral video se aapka exam schedule automatically change nahi hota. Official PDF/notice ka date aur reference number hi reliable basis hai.

🔴 Court order verified — misinformation se kaise bachein

CJP protest se related teen genuine Supreme Court orders exist karte hain — 28 July (interim), 1 September 2026 (FIRs quashed) aur 9 October 2026 (Metro/transit regulation). Social media par misleading claims circulate ho sakte hain. Verify karne ka sahi tareeka:

  • Official SC website: main.sci.gov.in par case status check karein.
  • Order ki copy dekhein: Bench composition (CJI Surya Kant + 2 judges), date, aur specific directions match karein.
  • Headline par trust na karein: Kai news articles sensational headlines use karte hain. Poora article padhein.
  • High Court ka order Supreme Court ke order se alag hai: 11 October 2026 ko Bombay High Court (Goa bench) ne Panaji protest ke detainees ki release par apna order diya hai; ise Supreme Court ke 28 July, 1 September ya 9 October ke orders ke saath mix na karein.
  • Magistrate court ka remand alag hai: 14 October 2026 ko Delhi ke Special Executive Magistrate Court ne Saurav Das aur Ashutosh Ranka ko 5 din ki judicial custody bheja; ye Supreme Court ke 28 July, 1 September aur 9 October ke orders se alag proceeding hai.

🔴 Students ke liye practical checklist

  • Preparation timetable ko viral news ke basis par mat badlein.
  • Admit card, exam-city slip aur result sirf official portal se download karein.
  • Kisi cancellation/re-exam claim ki PDF kholkar issuing body aur date verify karein.
  • Confusion ho to institute/authority ke official contact page ka use karein—random Telegram/WhatsApp forward ka nahi.
  • Agar CJP protest ke dauran arrest-related concern hai, 1 September 2026 ke SC order (FIRs quashed) ko reference karein.

Conclusion

CJP protest NEET paper leak ke khilaf ek significant student movement tha. Supreme Court ne 28 July ko interim protection aur 1 September 2026 ko Article 142 ke under sabhi FIRs quash karke students ko major relief diya. CJP ne 5 September march withdraw kar li. 4 September 2026 ko Swatantra Bhardwaj assault case mein naya development hua — Delhi Police ne unhe Bulandshahr se detain kiya aur attempt to murder va SC/ST Act ke charges add kiye. 9-10 September 2026 ko Supreme Court ne Greater Noida magistrate ke khilaf strict action liya — jinhone SC ke 1 September order ke bawajood student Akshat Tripathi ko notice issue kiya tha — aur magistrate ko suspend kar diya gaya. 24 September 2026 ko CJP ne CEC Gyanesh Kumar ka istifa maang kar 48 ghante ki deadline di. 9-10 October 2026 ko CJP aur opposition ne Jantar Mantar par protest ka call diya; Delhi Police ne permission deny ki aur Metro/trains par restrictions lagaye. Supreme Court ne 9 October 2026 ko apne order mein kaha ki Metro/rail par total prohibition nahi hoga — "suitable aur regulated" operation ho aur ye decision widely publicised ho. 11 October 2026 ko Panaji (Goa) ke protest mein detained activists ki release Bombay High Court (Goa bench) ne order ki aur kaha ki Section 163 BNSS ke prohibitory orders na hone par detention authorised nahi lagti. Is matter ki detailed sunwai 12 October 2026 ko hai. 13-14 October 2026 ko Delhi Police ne Jantar Mantar ko designated protest site se denotify kiya aur CJP leaders Saurav Das, Ashutosh Ranka tatha Ajinkya Shinde ko preventive arrest kiya; 14 October 2026 ko Delhi ke Special Executive Magistrate Court ne Das aur Ranka ko 5 din ki judicial custody (Tihar Jail) bheja aur Shinde ko personal bond par release kiya. Students ke liye ab focus apni preparation aur official notices par hi rakhna best approach hai.
