⚠️ The Reality: The Double-Filter Trap

Enforcement Constable is unique because it filters candidates twice: once by mind (PET Cutoff) and once by body (Physical Standard).

1. The PET Cutoff Uncertainty

• The System: UPSSSC calls only 15 times the number of vacancies for the Mains exam.
• The Grievance: Candidates with 65-68 marks in UPSSSC PET 2025 are in limbo. They prepare for the physical test but might not even get the call letter if the cutoff touches 70+.
• Reality: You need a very high percentile (90%+) just to sit for this exam.

2. The "Physical" Surprise

• Many high-scoring candidates (toppers in PET) are "academic" focused and struggle with the 4.8 km run.
• Outcome: A strange phenomenon occurs where high-merit candidates fail the physical, and lower-merit candidates (who are physically fit) didn't clear the PET cutoff. This often leaves seats vacant or lowers the final competition significantly.

3. Height Measurement Rejections

• Strictness: Unlike Police recruitment where there might be slight leniency (0.5 cm), UPSSSC is notorious for digital height measurement which is extremely precise. If you are 167.9 cm, you are out.

1. Computer Proficiency (CCC) Check

• This year, the Commission is cross-verifying CCC certificate details directly with NIELIT data during the application stage itself to weed out fake certificates.

2. Driving License Requirement?

• While not always mandatory for all constable posts, for Enforcement (Parivahan) candidates, having a valid Driving License (LMV/HMV) is being prioritized or given weightage in the final selection criteria (check official notification fine print).

3. Biometric Locking

• To prevent "Munna Bhais" (impersonators) who clear the physical test for others, Iris Scan is being introduced alongside thumb impression at the physical test centers.
